Different industries, the same underlying problem
A school running an annual photo day, an NDIS provider managing 200 distributed support workers, a security firm credentialing contractors on five sites — these look like very different problems. But the underlying workflow is identical: pull a roster from somewhere, get current photos against that roster, approve them in bulk, and issue a verifiable credential at the other end. The differences are in the regulatory framing, the cadence (annual vs rolling vs ad-hoc), and the verification context (door access vs visual ID vs participant trust).
Most platforms only handle one of those four steps well. Photo-collection tools don't know about printing. Card-design desktop software doesn't know about wallets. Directory-sync tools don't know about photos. Schools end up running a different stack to NDIS providers, who run a different stack to security firms — even though they all face the same problem.
CaptrID was built as a single operational platform across all four steps. The same roster sync feeds an annual school photo day and a rolling NDIS worker onboarding. The same approval workflow handles 800 student photos in a morning and three contractor badges in an afternoon. The same wallet IDs verify a teacher at the school gate and a support worker at a participant's door. Pricing is by total people, not by feature or per-card, because the underlying value is the same.
Built for Australian compliance contexts
Every regulated sector that handles personal identity data in Australia inherits the same trio of requirements: data residency, audit retention, and right-to-deletion. The Australian Privacy Principles apply to most use cases here. NDIS providers add worker screening and the NDIS Code of Conduct. Schools add state-level data governance and parental consent. RTOs add USI and AVETMISS alignment.
CaptrID is hosted in Sydney (AWS ap-southeast-2) with no US-hosted dependencies in the credential pipeline. Every photo capture, approval, credential issuance, and revocation is logged with user, timestamp, and action — exportable for ASQA, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, education department, or internal audit reviews. Configurable retention windows let each organisation set its own policy. Built-in person-erasure tooling lets you remove an individual's identity record completely when they leave, transfer, or request deletion under the APPs.
The sector-specific landing pages below cover how CaptrID fits each compliance context. Or talk to us about your specific obligations — we can usually map a workflow against your current process in 15 minutes.
